概要

I am a Peacebuilding professional having Master degree in International Relations (MA-IR), University of Peshawar, Pak (www.upesh.edu.pk) and have attended professional courses on Alternative Dispute Resolution (Restorative Justice (2011), MEAL in PB projects (2011) and Transitional Justice (2013)) from Eastern Mennonite University, VA, USA (www.emu.edu). I have more than 8 years of domestic experience in Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Assistance in complex emergencies.
As a Peacebuilding professional, I have specific experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution with major focus on design/development of ADR project in local contexts, implementation of modern techniques, tools of ADR in indigenous ADR mechanism, institutionalization of ADR mechanism, capacity building of ADR practitioners and Government Officials (Police, Prosecutors, Local Government, Probation) and monitoring of ADR projects during implementation.
As ADR Project Developer, I have developed 5 seccessful ADR projects for KP province to strengthen local ADR mechanism through structural reforms, capacity building and inclusion of modern ADR techniques. Funds were secured from The Asia Foundation, UNICEF, ERF and UNFPA for implementation of projects. The projects were implemented in KP province and FATA region of Pakistan.
I have directly implemented 5 ADR projects in KP districts including Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Swat, Dir Lower, Kohat, Swabi, and FATA including Bajaur and Kurram agencies. Major achievements in these projects including establishment of local ADR mechanism at Police Station level and Union Council level, incorporated modern ADR techniques including Mediation, understanding conflict, conflict stakeholders analysis, Family group conferencing, Restorative Justice in ADR process and gender mainstreaming, access, inclusion of various experts in ADR structure, Institutionalized ADR mechanism through Police department (Musalihati Committees) and Political Administration.
As a Project Manager/Team Lead, I have implemented more than 10 projects including ADR and humanitarian assistance projects. I have supervised more than 46 professional staff, supported project staff in project planning, developing project strategies, project execution, monitoring, coordination liaison, procurement and budget management.
I have excellent commend over Report Writing and received appreciation notes from various donor agencies on developing reporting formats, monitoring tools and case studies development. I have developed several success stories which were published on donor's websites and newsletters.

As ADR professional, I have provided services to International Alert (IA) as a consultant and delivered trainings o informal justice system and ADR to ADR practitioners in North Sindh. Recently I have conducted research study for The Asia Foundation on types and causes of Land disputes in Bunair, Swat and Dir Lower districts of KP.
I have been engaged in Strengthening Rule of Law in Malakand project from IM/Sciences platform as Consultant-Training Specialist and developed curriculum for ADR ToT and delivered ToT on ADR /Restorative Justice and ToT for Prosecutors and Technical Trainer.
I have been awarded matching scholarship from EMU, VA in 2011 to attend 2 courses on ADR at Eastern Mennonite University, VA, USA. In 2012, I was awarded Winston Fellowship to participate in Summer Peacebuilding Institute peace-building training program at EMU, VA. In 2013, I again received matching scholarship to attend an ADR course Transitional Justice at EMU, VA. The Peacebuilder an EMU quarterly magazine published my interview in 2011
